JUNIOR MARKET SWINE SHOW
SPECIAL RULES

RULE 1:
All entries in this department are subject to the General Rules of the Harris County Fair and Special Rules of the
Junior Livestock Show.

RULE 2:
All swine must be validated at a time and place to be determined by the Division Superintendent. See Important Dates.

RULE 3:
THIS IS A MARKET SHOW

RULE 4:
Minimum weight limit is 220 pounds.
Maximum weight limit is 270 pounds.

RULE5:
The top three placing swine will be re-weighed in class. Swine weighing 10 pounds greater than or less than check-in weight will be disqualified.

RULE 6:
Any swine sold through a livestock show auction since the beginning of the feeding period will be ineligible to show.

RULE 7:
The First Place and the Second Place Swine in each class MUST sell in auction.unless in conflict with Rules # two (2) and three (3) in Jr. Auction Special Rules.

RULE 8:
Classes will be set with 10 in the class if weight permits at the discretion of the Swine Superintendent AND the Livestock Superintendent.

RULE 9:
Exhibitors are encouraged to bring divider panel to share pen space.
