SILENT AUCTION SALE
SPECIAL RULES
RULE 1:
Participants in the Silent Auction are subject to Rule 12 of the General Home Economics and Horticulture Rules and Regulations.
RULE 2:
A maximum of sixty items will be selected for the Silent Auction. A maximum of ten (10) each from each division of the Home Economics and Horticulture Show, except Creative Arts, which may have more than ten (10) Items.
RULE 3:
The Judges at the completion of Judging will select all Home Economics and Horticulture Items included in the Silent Auction (See Rule 20 General Rules and Regulations). No item will be considered that was not designated for sale and properly signed by the exhibitor on their entry form.
RULE 4:
Participants may sell only one (1) entry per division and only two (2) sale entries from all divisions. In the event an exhibitor has more than two auction items, they must choose the two which will be sold and notify the Fair Office by 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2010. NOTE: Silent Auction are considered as Auction Items. Any participant who sells more than two Auction Items will forfeit the proceeds of the extra items to the scholarship fund of the Houston Farm & Ranch (unless conflict with rule #4 of Live Auction).
RULE 5:
Sale commission will be 8% per sale lot (including add-ons). |
